Itinerary
Excursion 1
Alnwick Castle was described by the Victorians as "Windsor of the North" and known more recently as Hogwarrts in the Harry Potter films. At spectacular Alnwick Garden you can experience the Grand Cascade with its many weirs and fountains, the ornamental garden and many secret gardens.
Excursion 2
We drive along the scenic heritage coastlin and cross the tidal causeway to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, famous for its religious heritage and 16th century castle. We have time at leisure here before visiting Bamburgh Castle, stunningly located perched above the coastline. (Please note that Holy island is subject to tidal conditions).
