Your Hotel: The Crown Hotel, Harrogate ***
With a history dating back over 300 years, the Crown Hotel sits right at the very heart of Harrogate’s most popular attractions. We’ve booked a special entertainment break with evening entertainment and half-price on selected drinks between 5-8pm. Rooms have TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel has lifts, though some rooms require access via steps.

Itinerary
Excursion 1
York is one of those special cities. It is compact, offering lots of museums, independant shops aplenty, the lovely institution that is Bettys and an almost complete city wall. Thats not all though, as the Minster is in sight to behold, one of this country's greatest ecclesiastical landmarks. You can also lose yourself in York's "snickleways" the alley vin the old town, not least the beautiful cobbled "Shambles".
Excursion 2
Yorkshire Dales & Black Sheep Brewery. We make our way into the Yorkshire Dales, first stopping off at Ripon. At Marsham, on the edge of the National Park, we visit the Black Sheep Brewery for a tour and tasting, before ending the day in Hawes with a visit to Wensleydale Creamery to learn how the famous cheese is made.
Excursion 3
Harrogate. A free day in Harrogate offers lots of options, such as the local institution, Bettys Tea Room, the Royal Pump Room Museum or even the ornate Turkish Baths. At the hotel we feature a cream tea today.
