Itinerary

Excursion 1

Whitby is a famous fishing port and was once home to Captain Cook. High above the harbour stands the 7th century Whitby Abbey, inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. The charming Old Town is a great place to find Whitby Jet products and the harbourside boasts some of the best fish and chips in Yorkshire.

Excursion 2

Goathland & North Yorkshire Moors Railway. We take a scenic ride through the North York Moors to Goathland, the pretty moorland village that featured as "Aidensfield" in the Tv series "Heartbeat". Our day then concludes with a spectacular ride on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, steaming through across the heather moors on one of Britain's longest heritage lines.
