Itinerary
Excursion 1
Isle of Man Steam Train & Castle Rushen. Travel on the longest narrow-gauge line in the Uk, a sixteen-mile journey from Douglas to Port Erin. We then nue to Castleton to visit Rushen Castle, one of Europes most finely preserved medieval castles.
Excursion 2
Peel and the House of Manannan. We head cross the island to the western shoreline to preety Peel and the House of Manannan, named after the islands mythological sea god.
Excursion 3
Manx Electric Railway, Laxey & the Snaefell Mountain Railway. We take the Manx Railway north along the coast to Laxey, home of the worlds largest working waterwheel, named "Isabella". We take our seat for the spectacular Snaefell Mountain Railway to the summit of Snaefell, the highest point on the island.
